 This book not only does it have pretty pictures it also teaches you how to use a matrix. The author tells the reader what is the matrix and how to use it to make a character its basically this  form x costume x personality = infinity. It talks about character making and how to use a combination diagram. The subjects they have examples on are angels, fallen angles and devils, dragons, tall tales from Greek mythology, nonhuman creatures and phantoms beasts, faeries and spirits, creatures in the artificial world, monsters, tall tales from Japanese folklore,worlds of fantasy characters.
